Laser Tattoo Removal
Before & After
Do you have a tattoo that you wish you could erase? Although tattoos are designed to be permanent, the advanced Trinity laser at Allure Dermatology can remove the ink and return your skin to its natural appearance.
Faster, Full-Spectrum Removal with the Astanza Trinity
The Astanza Trinity is the most powerful multi-wavelength tattoo removal system in the world. This means that Dr. Magee and Allure Dermatology can remove any unwanted tattoo with fast, industry–leading results. Virtually all tattoo ink colors, even resistant colors such as green and blue, can be removed with the Trinity, and each treatment can be tailored to the removal needs of the individual tattoo.
How does tattoo removal work?
The Astanza Trinity laser at Allure Dermatology produces light energy that is delivered into the skin, directly targeting the tattoo ink. The ink is quickly heated and shattered, which then allows the broken particles to be flushed away naturally over the following weeks. The tattoo will further fade with each treatment until no more ink remains in the skin.
How many treatments does complete tattoo removal take?
In most cases, a series of treatments is necessary for full removal. Most patients need at least five treatments, spaced six to eight weeks apart. The Astanza Trinity allows us to remove tattoos faster than ever possible before.
How long does each treatment take?
Treatment time is dependent on the size and complexity of the tattoo. Treatment can last anywhere from thirty seconds to fifteen minutes. Larger and more colorful tattoos may require longer treatment.
How much does treatment cost?
The cost per treatment is determined by the size of the tattoo to be treated. A customized treatment quote will be given during the initial consultation and tattoo assessment.
What are the side effects associated with tattoo laser removal?
Some patients experience minor blistering, swelling, and scabbing. Each of these go away naturally. Temporary pigmentation change is a risk, but resolves naturally over time.
What do I do after treatment?
Aftercare is important for optimal healing and ink removal. Follow the aftercare instruction given at by the professionals at Allure Dermatology. Basic guidelines include:
- Keeping tattooed area cleansed and covered for three days following treatment.
- Avoiding the picking of scabs and popping of blisters.
Tattoo removal with a Q-switched laser is the only truly safe and effective way to eliminate an unwanted tattoo. Alternative options include harsh surgery and ineffective removal creams. Dr. Magee has invested in the Astanza Trinity to provide the most advanced laser treatments in the Rio Grande Valley.
